7 Keys To Building Relationships and Rapport

Lead with what the prospect/customer needs and wants. It is not about you. Never assume...You will have to ask the prospect/customer qualifying questions. Working on sharpening your on people skills is a must. Offer your opportunity/product as vehicle for getting your prospect's need and wants fulfilled. Your product, service or opportunity must be a solution to their problem.
#1. Make A Friend First
Come from a friendly place and always genuinely interested in them and who they are. Your goal is to build a long term business or customer relationship. Discover what they want by asking what they like and don't like--building rapport. Remember—If you help others get what they want you will always get what you want. Take your self out of the equation completely. It is all about them. Friends are great resources and make life more fulfilling.
#2. Begin With A Compliment
A complement is a great ice breaker. Find something you admire about them and tell them. Complements show appreciation and brightens one’s day. Make it a point to bless someone daily with a compliment or words of encouragement. Always be genuine.
#3. Build Trust
Get them talking about themselves. Trust is built based on the questions that you ask them- Be genuinely concerned about who they are. Let them tell you about themselves so that you can find out the information. People love to talk about themselves. You will find out more of how you can help them.
#4. Ask Questions
Ask a series of questions. Find out information about prospective business partners and customers. The F.O.R.M method can be used to ask questions and build rapport.
F- Family-  Where are you from? How many children do you have?
O- Occupation-What do you do? Tell me more about what you do? What do you like most about your job?
R- Recreation- What do you like to do for fun? What are your hobbies? What do you do when you are not working?
M- Message (what you want to accomplish to help them)
  a. Build Curiosity- do not lead with the product lead with what they
       their wants and needs
  b. Create an eager want - to accomplish wants, needs and goals.
#5. Control The Conversation
Keep the conversation going back and forth. You ask a question and they answer. The one who is asking the questions control the conversation Become great with asking questions. Get them talking about themselves. Discover what do they like and do not like. It will help build more trust and eventually their needs will be exposed.
#6. Listen and Pay Attention
Develop listening skills. Do whatever it takes to be a better listener. Be sure to actively listen. You can listen to the customer/prospect if you are in your own head thinking about what you are going to ask next or assuming what they are going to say next and interrupting them. Pay attention to what matters to them what is important for their needs, strengths and goals.
#7. Smile
Shows that you are interested, changes your body language and changes the whole atmosphere. Smiles are contagious and it's totally attractive-attracts others to you.

How To Make Your Business Hours More Productive


1. Set goals and tasks for the month, the week and day. Do you have a plan in place? 
Do not wing it!

Make a top 3-4 list of income producing activities

2. Use a stop watch or a timer 60 minute intervals

Helps with focus and get things done. If you don't finish within the hour move on. Finish it the next day.

3. 80-90% of your day should be focused on IPA's
I.E. Writing  or producing content, driving online traffic, following up with prospects. That's it

4. Stay on task. Try not to multitask

5. Avoid distractions at all cost. Let your voicemail do its
job.

6. Create routines for everything that you do

7. 10 minute break every hour  50/10 50min production 10min break

8. Manage yourself in time

9. Drink water and fresh air on your ten min break

10. Exercise to increase is vital for more energy

11. Eliminate energy robbers- Eat well and negative people

12. Get up and go to bed at the same time every day...Create a
routines is important

13. Emails do not make money. This can be a productivity killer.
Check and Reply to email. Twice a day.

14. Never spend more than 30 minutes a day per 
day on email

15. Plan your learning and productivity as two seperate activities

16. Call leads/prospects on the same day. Call the person while it 
is fresh on their mind...the sooner the better.

17. Block out 1-5 hours per day to connect with prospect. 
(depending on your amount of time and amount of business

18. Schedule time with family

19. Take out you spouse/partner to dinner once a week

20. Mindset Before Marketing 1 hr per day on personal development.
Short on time: Combine Exercise and Personal development. Take 5 min go
over what you are grateful for Take 5 min visualizing your goals then take 
5 min repeat your objectiveout loud or in your head.

21. Pick one or two marketing strategies and master them.
90 days to master the strategy then add something new.

22. Set aside an hour a day on marketing training.

23. Set a schedule and stick to it.

How To Set Up A Facebook Event For Hangouts, Opportunity Webinars, Etc.

How To Set Up An Facebook Event:
  1. Go to Home (Newsfeed)
  2. Go to Events 
  3. Click Create.  Create your invite, include your Hangout or Opportunity link specific to type of Hangout. 
  4. Invite your new friends you made the previous week.  (Keep a daily record of friends added.)
  5. Invite team members who are also in DS Domination who most likely will join your event as a show of support. This will draw interest to your event.  
  6. Be careful of inviting the same people every week, you could end up in FB jail if those people don't attend your events. 
  7. Post your event on your Facebook Wall.

Facebook Friending How to and Script



An important part of prospecting is connecting with people, establishing rapport, and building relationships. Facebook is a great vehicle to build long lasting business relationships and make new friends to share ideas with. Here's how to do it:

Pick a group. Take a look at the posts or the members. Take a look at the profiles, learn a little about the person, kind of check them out to see if they are people you want to do business with...make sure they do not have sketchy profiles.

Like their post in the group then post in comments. Make this script your own and individual so that it does not read like a copy cat post.

Hi (name), I came across your profile... I am always looking to connect with like-minded people who share similar interest and I’d love to connect with you!!


Then once you are sent a friend request or if they ask you to add them, after you are friends,  you can message them this message. (Make it your own)

Thank you (name) for the connection...I look forward to reading your posts and networking with you. Take Care~(Your Name)

Be Sure Not To Pitch To Them Right Off. Let your Facebook Posts drip on them. If they pitch you, just kindly let them know that you are focused on your current business and you are just wanting to network with them.

PayPal Holds: What to do if PayPal Is Holding Your Payments



If You are new to EBay, PayPal may hold funds until you establish history with EBay. Because you are a new seller with EBay, while you establish your selling track record, buyer payments may be held. These holds will continue until all three criteria are met:

• It’s been more than 90 days since your first successful sale
• You’ve had more than 25 sales transactions with US buyers, and
• You’ve had more than $250 in sales

EBay wants to make sure that customers are receiving their items and in a timely manner. This hold is explained and how to speed up the process in Module 12 of the Pro training. Once your tracking number is put into eBay and PayPal the funds will be released within 72 hrs.  after delivery to the customer. During this time you may have to pay for items up front until the criteria above is met.  That is why it is suggested in modules (I believe it is Module 12) to sell small items that you are able to possibly pay the cost up front or sell items from around your home until the holds are lifted. 

For the small items, put the item in to the shopping cart as if you are going to purchase so that you can get the total cost. You can just add the shipping and handling to the cost plus 8% to cover possible taxes to the buy it now price so that you can continue to offer free shipping for the items…or just add shipping to your listing.

I had PayPal holds as well when I first started. It is temporary until your history is established and when you provide the tracking number, and once the item is delivered your PayPal funds are usually released promptly within 72 hrs.
