Know Your IPA's (Income Producing Activities)

What does your day really look like?

80% of business hours should be focused on IPA’s or Income Producing Activities.

Sometimes we think that we are being productive but we are just being busy doing busy work ..not activities to bring in Income from our business.

Surprisingly there are only 3 main IPA's that can relate to most home-based businesses and today we are going over...

IPA#1 Share Your Opportunity – Prospecting

Here is a quick way to tie in your income goals to sharing your opportunity:

$1,000 per Month = 2 Quality People Per Day
$5,000 per Month = 5 Quality People Per Day
$10,000 per Month = 10 Quality People Per Day

**Quality People** = People that you have exposed your business to and have watched or attended:
Presentations
Opportunity Calls
Webinars
Video Overviews

This is approximate and you may have to tweak the numbers depending on your results but this is a place to start.Remember…You are not really in business unless you are sharing your opportunity.

IPA #2. Build New Relationships

This is very important…
Build the relationship with people First…
Then share your opportunity.

Mingle with new people online and offline…
Break that habit of being shy and socialize more…
Online …Join Facebook Groups…not the spam groups but groups that talk about business and current events, Forums and participate in Google Hangouts…and add value to these groups and they will see you for the leader that you truly are!

#3. Follow Up

I know that you have heard the saying…
“The fortune is in the follow Up”

This is the most overlooked step in the process…


We do all of the work of building the relationship, sharing the opportunity, then drop the ball and not follow through with the follow up to move forward.

Follow up with...
-Leads
-People that you put the business in front of
-People who said no for now but maybe later

It is a matter of making your fortune or losing a fortune
